Tall spires of saucer-shaped, white flowers with mauve centres from May to August.
This variety is one of the most reliable and long-flowering varieties of verbascum.
The rosette of leaves can be semi-evergreen. Seeds sown in a cold frame in late spring or early summer produce rosettes of hairy, grey-green leaves and flowers the following year.
Perfect for a sunny border or for prairie planting.
In gardening and landscaping, the mulleins are valued for their tall narrow stature and for flowering over a long period of time, even in dry soils.
Grow well on poor, dry soils or recently disturbed ground.
They require a sunny spot and free-draining soil.
Ideal for gravel, cottage, mixed borders, prairie or naturalized or wild gardens.
