Common name: Chocolate Lily, Kamchatka Fritillary, Black Sarana
Deep purple-black flowers in spring.
A showy bulbous perennial with sturdy stems clothed in lance-shaped, glossy deep-green leaves mostly arranged in whorls down the stem.
Deer and rabbit resistance.
Prefers partial shade.
Height: 15-60cm (6-24″) high.
Flowers: April/May
Aspect: Sun or shade, fully hardy
Growing in 9cm pot.
