This a lovely prolific flowering onion that retains its fresh green leaves throughout the long flowering period, unlike many of the larger ornamental onions.
The small, slender bulbs are also edible and can be used either raw or cooked.
Attractive to pollinators.
Height: 30-40cm (12-16 inches).

A magnificent, very hardy deciduous climber. Leaves the size of dinner plates.
This ornamental vine from Japan is a climber for roomy situations where it will not need cutting back. Impressive: a mature specimen can reach 25m (82ft), although it will take a few years to achieve that.
Leaves turn a magnificent crimson in autumn, but can also have shades of orange and yellow, depending on the autumn weather.
