A bulbous perennial,10-30 cm high, with narrow, dark green leaves on upright stems.
These are topped in late summer with one to three very fragrant, trumpet-shaped flowers,up to 20cm long, in white flushed with dark red/purple on the outside.
Very good hardy form, often flowering from seed within two years.
For flower borders and beds, cut flowers, cottage & informal gardens, rock gardens, patio and containers.
Also makes a beautiful container plant for an unheated greenhouse.
