A vigorous plant bearing masses of small, greenish-yellow (chartreuse) single nodding bell flowers, sometimes marked red or purple underneath. Prominent central boss of purple stamens.
The flowers are followed by attractive spikey seed heads.
Natural habitat is scrubland, grassy slopes and along streams.
